Monster Clock by Eoghan Quinn is a comedy adventure story that pulls together puppetry, enemble work, choral music and storytelling to take the audience on a sweet journey with a wry sense of humour. It tells the story of Toby, a castigated monster and apprentice watchmaker, whose world is blown apart by a raid on his workshop and is forced to flee the safety of his desk into the vast fantasy world that awaits him.
Initially aimed at children aged 8+ it subsequently played to young and old alike.
Monster Clock debuted in Smock Alley in 2012, performed by Jack Gleeson, Eoghan Quinn, Aaron Heffernan, Kate Kennedy, Claire O’Malley, Richard Shaffrey, Grainne Pollock, Meadhbh McHugh and Martha McGregor.
Subsequently toured to: The Lir Academy , Riverbank Arts Centre , Mermaid Arts Centre , Pavilion Theatre , Axis, Draiocht Arts Centre, Civic Theatre, Smock Alley Theatre (Main Stage) between November 2012 and March 2013.
