Distance From the Event premiered in the Samuel Beckett Theatre as one of the flagship events of Dublin Fringe 2013, with previews in the Civic Theatre, Tallaght.
In it, an entire human colony on a distant planet has gone missing. Mel has been working on the case, but gaps are starting to appear in the paper trail. One piece of paper in particular might explain the whole event, but Mel is no longer the only interested party… Science Fiction meets Irish Noir in this story about love, isolation and life’s hidden symmetries.
