Our work is comic, lo-fi, spectacular, tactile, virtuosic, and leaves the performers really, really sweaty at the end.

Collapsing Horse formed in 2012. Since then we have created four  productions, touring across Ireland as well as abroad to London, Edinburgh, Moscow and New York.

We are currently artists in residence in Draíocht, and formerly the Civic, where we’ve run community workshops and shown work in development. We are presenting two new shows in 2016, The Aeneid (Tiger Dublin Fringe) and Conor: at the end of the Universe (Draíocht, Riverbank, Linenhall & The Ark), as part of our commitment to engage with children as well as adults.

These two strands are often fused, and we regularly use adult themes in children’s shows, or wide-eyed fantasy to immerse our mature audiences.

Members

Our members sustain us, year on year, giving us support and resources to take risks and realise our most outlandish ambitions. They are our friends, our advocates and our sustaining supporters.

We are very grateful to them indeed and fortunate to have them as part of the Collapsing Horse family.
